PHI Clinical Hospital, Stip, Macedonia and the Bulgarian Medical Association – branch Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria financed by INTERREG – IPA Cross-border Program Bulgaria-Macedonia 2014-2020, during the two-day “Open Days” event in Stip, Macedonia with more than 40 participants of the health sectors in the East planning region and the Blagoevgrad region, have officially established the First cross-border healthcare cluster.
The First Cross-Border Healthcare Cluster is registered as a type of association of geographically concentrated institutions that will work together to achieve common goals, strengthening the cooperation and future networking with other stakeholders in the field of healthcare sector – public and private health institutions, regional and local authorities, educational institutions, solely for the purpose of creating synergies and developing future joint projects that will provide higher quality services in the health sector.
