In the municipal hall 5 in the Municipality of Blagoevgrad on 28.03.2017. in front of the local and regional media was presented the project “Integration of European Health Standards and innovation on the way to developing a cross-border health cluster “. The total project value is EUR 116 925, and project partners are Regional Collegia of the Bulgarian Medical Association, Blagoevgrad and PHI Clinical Hospital Shtip. The main activities are development of a joint cross-border Strategy for establishment of a cross-border health cluster, training and seminars for young doctors and medical specialists, supply of specialized medical equipment for the hospital “St. Mina” and PHI Clinical Hospital and elaboration of a cross-border health catalog.

The results that should be achieved through the implementation of the CB Health project are improving the quality of healthcare services, qualification and the realization of young doctors, future medical specialists, promoting the competitiveness in the cross-border area. Specialized medical equipment will be delivered and installed for public benefit.

The duration of the project is 12 months and will end until October 2017.
